Costly manual document processing, error rates, and lengthy approval processes
ASB employees processed invoices and other documents manually and entered them into individual systems separately. With such a high volume of documents to process, this placed high demands on employee performance, which led to a high error rate.
This approach led to further problems associated with inefficient document approval and verification processes. At the same time, it was not possible to share data with customers securely and efficiently. The situation required either a costly increase in staff numbers or the identification of an effective and cost-efficient solution.
